Discover the magic of Tanzania: 9 days, 8 nights of safari & island bliss.

Embark on an unforgettable 9 day journey through Tanzania, where vibrant culture, untamed wilderness, and turquoise coastlines come together in one extraordinary experience. Your adventure begins in Dar es Salaam, the lively gateway to Tanzania’s southern safari circuit. Here, you’ll dive into thrilling wildlife encounters—spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and a dazzling array of birds across vast savannas and lush landscapes.

After days filled with safari excitement, trade the bush for the beach as you fly to the idyllic island of Zanzibar. With its powder-soft sands, warm Indian Ocean waters, and rich Swahili heritage, Zanzibar offers the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Whether you choose to unwind on the shore, wander through historic Stone Town, or enjoy spice tours and sunset dhow cruises, the island invites you to slow down and savor every moment.

This 9 day, 8 night escape captures the best of Tanzania—wildlife, culture, and coastal serenity—all wrapped into a seamless, curated experience you’ll never forget.

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania! Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) by 12:00 noon to ensure a seamless start to your journey. Guests arriving later are encouraged to arrive a day early.  In the evening attend the Welcome Dinner and connect with fellow travelers.

Day 2: Depart in the early morning for an unforgettable safari in Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s most expansive and unspoiled wildlife reserves. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse landscapes while searching for iconic wildlife, including members of the renowned Big Five. As the day winds down, relax and enjoy an overnight stay in charming rustic safari tents surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 3: Begin the day with an enriching cultural visit to a Maasai community, where you’ll learn about their traditions, daily life, and enduring heritage. Later, return to Dar es Salaam for your flight to the idyllic island of Zanzibar, where turquoise waters and island charm await.

Day 4: Immerse yourself in the rich history of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, stroll through narrow streets, historic buildings, and lively markets while uncovering the stories and influences that have shaped Zanzibar’s unique culture.

Day 5: Set out for a day of island exploration and relaxation. Visit Prison Island, known for its giant tortoises, then unwind on the powdery white sands of Nakupenda Sandbank, surrounded by crystal-clear waters. In the evening, travel north to Nungwi and check into your beachfront hotel for a peaceful night by the sea.

Day 6: Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and recharge. Lounge at your resort, take an optional visit to the laid-back beaches of Paje, or explore Zanzibar at your own pace.

Day 7: Today brings a unique opportunity to visit Salaam Cave, where you can swim alongside turtles in a natural limestone pool.  In the evening, choose to enjoy an optional dinner at the world-famous Rock Restaurant.

Day 8: Venture out to the waters near Mnemba Island for a chance to observe dolphins in their natural habitat. Later, conclude your day with a tranquil sunset cruise aboard a traditional dhow, taking in sweeping views of the Indian Ocean as the sun sets over the horizon.

Day 9: After breakfast, transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) for your departure.
